Who is eligible for the TRiO Program?

LCC's TRiO Program is federally-funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Therefore, all applicants must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen, and meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Be a first-generation college student
    (to meet this criteria, neither parent and/or legal guardians have earned a Bachelor degree or higher)
  • Meet income guidelines
    (as defined by the U.S. Department of Education - Federal TRiO guidelines)
  • Have a documented learning or physical disability on file with LCC's Center for Student Access
