Lansing Community College Ombudsperson-Equity Advocate

LCC's Ombudsperson-Equity Advocate assists students with non-academic Lansing Community College processes and identification of appropriate departments or programs to effectively address educational issues and concerns.

The ombudsperson-equity advocate is also an "agent for change," recommending modifications and improvements to rules, regulations, policies and procedures which are unclear, inequitable or unfair.  The ombudsperson-equity advocate provides students with information about existing channels for conflict resolution, appeals and grievances, support services available at the college, and assists students in the use of these services and procedures.
