Chemistry Program

Lansing Community College offers a one-year certificate of achievement, a two-year applied science associate degree in Chemical Process Technology and an associate degree in Chemical Technology which has been certified by the American Chemical Society.
If you like working in a laboratory and interacting with other people, this could be your ideal career. You might work in many different kinds of industries including pharmaceutical, plastics, paper, automotive or food production. You'd be working closely with chemists, chemical engineers and technical specialists. You could be using your laboratory skills to test and communicate information in such areas as quality control, pollution, and research and development. It's a field with a vast range of possible career options and jobs are plentiful.
