Chemical Technology, Associate in Applied Science

The Chemical Technology program at LCC has been certified by the American Chemical Society.  Graduates of this program can expect job possibilities in a wide variety of settings.  If you enjoy working in a laboratory and with other people, there's something for you in Chemical Technology!

As a Chemical Technician, you will work closely with chemists, chemical engineers and technical specialists.  You will also have the opportunity to use laboratory skills to test and communicate information in such areas as:

  • Quality Control
  • Environmental Pollution

Current job prospects are excellent with salaries ranging from $30,000-$38,000 per year based on experience and credentials.
