Information Technology Services (ITS)

Information Technology Services (ITS) is a division of five departments working together to provide and sustain dependable, accessible, and responsive computing services to the LCC Community. 

  • Enterprise Systems: Consists of five teams (Banner Support, Database Administration, Application Administration, Portal Administration, and Application Development) with the primary responsibility for the development, support and administration of the College's enterprise-class software applications. 
    Location: TLC

  • Infrastructure Support Services: The Data Center team manages and maintains the servers and data storage equipment in the two LCC data centers.  The Network team designs, supports, and maintains the cabling equipment that make up the network (wired and wireless) infrastructure on and between LCC campuses.  The Telecommunications team supports and maintains the campus phone system, LCC issued phones, and call center operations.

  • Technology Support Services: The Help Desk team provides support to College students, faculty and staff.  The Computer Lab team provides access to more than 130 computers and a wide variety of software applications used to support the many academic program areas on main campus and at west campus.  The PC Operations team installs, supports and maintains all PCs, laptops, tablets, and printers owned by LCC.

  • Information Security: The Information Security team implements and maintains an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that manages the internal and external risks to the college's information resources as defined by the Board of Trustees Information Security Policy.  The team oversees all aspects of Network and Information Security, to protect the college from internal and external threats, including the development and enforcement of Security Policy and the design, deployment, administration and coordination of electronic security systems to assure system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability.

  • Project Management: The project management team offers consulting and full management of any scale project.  Consulting can range from strategy assistance to solution assistance to solution investigation and development.

  • Media Services: Consists of three teams (Media Creation and Design, Classroom Services and Engineering Services) and provides audio, visual and interactive instructional support to the College's students, faculty and staff.  The teams create media content used in instructional settings and for internal and external college communications, marketing and community relations.  The department supports the College's radio and television stations, maintains an inventory of portable audio/visual equipment for checkout, and supports the classroom teaching stations and related equipment.
