How do you know if you need a Reading class?

For reading and writing placement, you may submit ACT, SAT, or ASVAB scores, which may exempt you from placement testing. If you have taken a test, other than those listed, or if you have completed developmental reading and/or writing coursework at another institution, please make an appointment with the Intergrated English Director or Academic Coordinator to discuss placement options. You may also take the Accuplacer exam offered in the LCC Assessment Center.
