Our Mission

LCC eLearning
    The mission of the eLearning Department is to:
  • Administer LCC’s Course Management System (CMS), currently D2L, as well as support multiple integrated technologies within the CMS.
  • Support and empower student learning and faculty instruction through in-person, online, and on-demand assistance for using D2L and integrated educational technologies at LCC.
  • Research and adapt to current trends in higher education that enhance technology-based teaching, learning, and engagement within a growing, diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.
  • Provide trainings for students, faculty, and staff related to the use of the CMS, educational technologies, and meeting accessibility requirements.
  • Create and provide informational resources and support services, through online resources, communication, and multimedia to support students, faculty, and staff.

eLearning Live Chat

Purpose:

The eLearning Live Chat is intended for questions regarding D2L.

Live Chat Operation Hours:

Monday- Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm

The eLearning Department will respond to emails and offline messages within one business day.
