CIT programs and courses will teach you the most current technologies from instructors with real-world experience.

Continually upgraded equipment and small classes offering personalized instruction combine offer an excellent education at an affordable price.

The CIT program has a number of "100% online" degrees and certificates, so you can take classes and earn a degree anywhere in the world!  Some courses in these programs may require students to travel to Lansing Community College, or other approved proctoring site for testing.

Partnerships with four-year institutions give you the opportunity to transfer seamlessly and earn a bachelor's degree or beyond.

IT Speed Networking Event

Trades Technology Services and the CIT Program are hosting the Tenth Annual IT Speed Networking Event 11:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23rd, 2020 at LCC West Campus, room M119. There is no charge to attend this event. Microsoft Azure for Academics

One of the nice features of the Microsoft Azure for Academics program is the ability of students who are enrolled in Computer Information Technologies (most courses with a CIT prefix or GSCI prefix) courses to obtain software for their home computers at little or no cost. Visit the LCC Microsoft Azure page for details. Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus is also available for active LCC students to use on their personally owned computers.

Computer Industry Certifications

Students in the CIT Program may earn several industry certifications in their studies. Some are included in courses; others are optional. For more information, contact the CIT program. The material covered in courses are from popular vendors, such as Cisco, CompTIA, and Microsoft.
