Internal Resources

Committee for Assessing Student Learning (CASL)

CASL is a Standing Committee of the Lansing Community College Academic Senate. It exists to provide leadership and support to faculty and staff as they improve student learning outcomes. Some of the items found at this site include: LCC Assessment Results, and Program of Study Learning Outcomes Identification.

Human Resources Department (HR)

The Human Resources Department exists to meet Lansing Community College employee-related needs. Items found on this website include: Employment/Careers; Employee Benefits; Government Resources; Employee Forms; and other services.

Information Technology Services (ITS)

Lansing Community College's Information Technology Services (ITS) is a division of five departments working together to provide computing services to the LCC community. This website provides access to these services, a few examples are: The Help Desk and the Five Star Service Center; Computer Account help; Employee Knowledge Base; and The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE).

Student Affairs Division

Like the Star Zone found in the Lansing Community College Gannon Building, this site is focused on student support. A variety of support services can be connected to from this website including: Academic Advising; Success Coaching Career Exploration; Counseling; and many more. Links to the Office of Student Compliance and College Policies & Procedures are also found on this website.

Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS)

The BLS of the U.S. Department of Labor is the principal federal agency responsible for measuring labor market activity, working conditions, and price changes in the economy. It is an independent statistical agency.

  • BLS - Fact Finder

    This is a new tool to search multiple data sets all at once on the BLS website. Users can extract specific data by using keyword searches or filters.

College Navigator

Link to the Lansing Community College section of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). The College Navigator is a great place to see what LCC information is presented on a national level and to search for other college information you are interested in. Information found here includes, but is not limited to: school structure; learning opportunities; programs available; student population; admissions; mission statement; estimated tuition costs; and much more.

Emsi

A Labor Market Analytics Company

The Center for Data Science works with Emsi to provide labor market data compiled from a wide variety of government sources, job posting, and online profiles and resumes, which covers more than 99% of the workforce. This can be used to align Lansing Community College programs with regional needs, equip students with career visions, and understand regional economic and workforce activity.
